The Zoo

What a fun weekend we had! My father, daughter and I went to the zoo. We had a wonderful time and what a great learning experience for her! Most of the animals were pretty far away, but as soon as we were within sight of an animal my daughter's interest and focus was amazing! I brought along her animal book so that she could look at the animals in her book and then see the real ones! When she saw a hippo she stared intently at the animal and then looked down at her book. She did this at least 4 times. You could just see her linking the picture with the animal. If you go to the zoo- bring a book! It also lets the child get closer to the animals!
